Roy Chiu explains nude photo
5 May – Roy Chiu recently explained the negative rumours surrounding a nude photo of himself published by a tabloid recently.
As reported on Asianpopnews website, a tabloid published an old nude photo of Roy, showing the actor in a kneeling position, with his hands tied and his leg covering his genital area.
The actor was then criticised by readers who saw the pictures, and was even mocked for resembling a Japanese porn star.
To this, Roy's manager clarified, "The photo was taken in 2006 for a charitable cause by renowned photographer, Leslie Kee, in view of the South Asian Tsunami disaster."
His manager expressed Roy's frustration that the photo was interpreted negatively by the tabloid, stating, "Maybe the person who twisted the story behind the photo has a mental problem."
