Natalis Chan paid earlier respect to White Dragon King

2 Sep – Busy man Natalis Chan was unable to attend the funeral for Thailand's mystic, "White Dragon King" also known as Chow Yam Nam, and decided to make an early visit to pay his respect.

As reported on Sina Taiwan, instead of joining the King's other followers to appear at his funeral on 1 September, the actor-producer, who had to be involved in the Miss Hong Kong Pageant that has been scheduled on the same date, flew to Thailand on 30 August to pay his respect instead.

Natalis revealed that he met the White Dragon King for the first time as early as the '80s Tian Tian Fishing Harbour days, and shared, "When we first met, he advised me to work with Alan Tam. When we collaborated, we did succeed in everything that we did."

Natalis added, "When I learned of his passing, I really wanted to come and pay my respect, but I had to work at the Miss Hong Kong Pageant, which is held on the same day too. Thus, I came today to pay my respect."

He also praised the White Dragon King and thinks of him as a sage, as he had not only provided guidance for his life, but also helped Natalis to resolve his personal issues.

"When I made it big in the '90s, I thought I could retire. But he advised me to return to music. I never thought that the comeback to singing could lead to a seven show Hong Kong Coliseum concert series. The master chose that road for me."
