Bosco Wong wants to open oyster bar

16 Apr – Although denying earlier that he was starting another business in Hong Kong, actor Bosco Wong recently admitted that he is indeed planning to open an oyster bar.

As reported on Popular Asians website, the actor, who was seen looking at several business locations around Soho with friends, revealed, "I have friends in the dining industry who can receive liquor licenses, so this time I want to open an oyster bar, which can be a place of gathering for those who love to eat oysters."

Bosco also revealed that he has always dreamed of becoming a chef, and so he would like to set the bar's menu himself, and to manage a 1,000 square feet food place that can be easily managed.

Meanwhile, his HKD8 million investment, a bar restaurant in Malaysia called House Music Club continues to bloom, while his three properties are currently rented to others, providing him with an additional source of income.

In related news, after concluding filming of "Young Sherlock" in mainland China on 10 April, it was reported Bosco will begin filming for a 20-episode modern drama temporarily titled "Cat Mother" for TVB in May, co-starring actress Michelle Yim.
