Apparel retailer Uniqlo will be launching the “Hey, Let's Go!” collaboration collection with Studio Ghibli exclusively at Bugis+ on 17 August before the launch in all stores and online on 21 August. Uniqlo Singapore will celebrate the new lineup, which adds a splash of fun for customers, by bringing the world of Ghibli to Bugis+ from 18 August to 14 September. Visitors can look forward to immersive installations of beloved characters, interactive activities, exclusive novelties, and free screenings.

A second Uniqlo and Ghibli collaboration collection exclusively for Southeast Asia

Fans can adorn their love for Studio Ghibli with its second UT collection that incorporates art featuring Ghibli’s best-known works and designs by Thai artist Kanyada and longtime Studio Ghibli Producer Toshio Suzuki. The 27 items will be in men’s, kids’, and baby sizes.

Besides T-shirts, the lineup will include shirts, sweatshirts, socks, and the Round Mini Shoulder Bags that have proven to be a worldwide hit. Following the exclusive launch at Bugis+ on 17 August, the collection will be available at all Uniqlo stores and Uniqlo.com from 21 August onwards.

Hey, Let’s Go and discover the world of Studio Ghibli!

From 18 August to 14 September, visitors can look forward to a myriad of fun and immersive Ghibli- inspired activities taking over Bugis+. They can snap photos of installations of famous scenes and characters like the moving castle from Howl’s Moving Castle and Totoro from My Neighbour Totoro as well as Ponyo at the atrium or get up close and personal with the iconic Yubaba during her special appearances.

A mall-wide stamp rally will be held, where customers can redeem a stamp rally card from staff at Uniqlo Bugis+ before collecting six limited edition Ghibli stamps scattered throughout the mall, including the Uniqlo store. Uniqlo APP members can also exclusively redeem a limited-edition poster from Uniqlo Bugis+.

That is not all! Fans can win a pair of tickets to free movie screenings of their favourite films at the Studio Ghibli Film Fest, which runs for six days at Golden Village Bugis+. Ticket giveaways will be conducted weekly on the Instagram page of Uniqlo Singapore. Audiences will get to bring home a Ghibli-branded goodie bag, which includes a character poster and UTme! vouchers for shoppers to customise their LifeWear with Ghibli designs. Limited redemptions only.
