For the uninitiated (just in case), Black Friday refers to the Friday after Thanksgiving in the United States. It traditionally marks the start of the Christmas shopping season, with many stores offering highly promoted physical sales. The event concludes on Cyber Monday, the Monday after Thanksgiving, where people are encouraged to shop online instead of heading to the physical stores.
