A new trailer has just been dropped ahead of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's in-depth interview with Oprah Winfrey next week, in which Meghan can be heard speaking for the first time. And if this short clip is anything to go by, the Duchess is not holding back.

Meghan sat down for a two hour chat with friend and neighbour Oprah Winfrey recently, in an exclusive interview that will air as a primetime special on CBS. The tea-spilling extravaganza will be released in the United States on 7 March at 8pm East Coast time (1am Monday morning UK time), and will air in the UK the following day on ITV at 9pm.

We've already been told that the "wide-ranging" interview is set to cover everything from what it was like for Meghan "stepping into life as a royal, marriage, motherhood, philanthropic work to how she is handling life under intense public pressure," and both trailers certainly confirm that.

While the first clip didn't feature the Duchess of Sussex doing any of the talking (instead Prince Harry was heard telling Oprah: "My biggest concern was history repeating itself," in reference to his mother, Princess Diana), the second one definitely does. And the royals have probably started squirming already, because Meghan is not mincing her words.

"How do you feel about the Palace hearing you speak your truth today?" Oprah asks Meghan, to which the Duchess of Sussex calmly responds: "I don't know how they could expect that after all of this time we would still just be silent if there is an active role that The Firm is playing in perpetuating falsehoods about us."

Ooof.

Meghan continues: "And if that comes with risk of losing things... I mean, there's a lot that's been lost already."

Yeah, not sure how this one's gonna go down at BP. But after being forced to remain silent in their royal roles for so long, it's hardly surprising Meghan and Harry want to use their freedom to share their side of the story.

This is going to be a tense two hours...
