What better way to bring together gaming, anime and art fans in the Philippines than bringing the Star Guardians into Manila?

Riot Games is doing it this year, holding their first-ever in-person art event for the League of Legends community, the “Star Guardians Art School.”

The Star Guardians is a ten-week event across League of Legends, League of Legends: Wild Rift, and Legends of Runeterra and is about an anime-inspired, alternate universe of League of Legends champions living as high school students who were also called to be Star Guardians to save their world.

Star Guardian Art School celebrates this storyline by allowing participants to create their own Star Guardian-inspired artwork on tote bags, sneakers, and more.

This in-person event will be held at the Moon Rabbit Café in San Juan City, Metro Manila, from 29 to 31 July, 2022, between 9.45am and 8.30pm.

The Star Guardian Art School offers a variety of activities and courses where fans can express their creativity. These include Hydro Dipping lessons, DIY Star Guardian tote bag making, and Fan Art Areas where visitors may decorate walls with drawings and messages.

Along with the DIY activities, guests can watch the Star Guardian music videos in the Cinematic Area and wrap off the day by taking pictures with the Star Guardian team.

And just like any other school, you may relax in the café with special themed beverages like the Starstruck Lemonade, a beverage that changes colours!

"We are so excited to bring the Star Guardian Art School experience to fans, gamers and anime enthusiasts in the country to show appreciation for their loyalty and support," said Riot Games Country Manager Joel Guzman in a press statement.

"We hope the event can bring together the Filipino gaming and anime communities while Riot Games continue to identify local interests and opportunities for more title-related events in the future."

This event is a reservation-only experience, so interested participants can pre-register to book a time slot before visiting. More information on the registration will be released on July 27, 2022 at the League of Legends: Wild Rift Philippines Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages.

The Star Guardian global campaign kicked off with a website, and a music video for Everything Goes On by Porter Robinson.

This was followed by a slew of in-game events, visual novels and comics across all three titles. The event also features in-game Star Guardian skins that players can purchase on League of Legends or Wild Rift.
