It's hard to remember a time before the Kardashian-Jenners were famous. But on last night's (June 17) reunion episode of the Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian got candid about just that.

Speaking to host Andy Cohen, Kim denied claims she'd ever called the paparazzi on herself, but did admit to making sure she was seen at all the LA hotspots while she was trying to make a name for herself.

"I would stop off at Robertson's, I would stop off at the Ivy to pick up something to go, even if it was some bread to go," Kim said. "I think I can talk about it because it's so funny. I think people need to be more honest about those moments in life when you're just super desperate and want that."

In the mid 2000s, Kim had only just dipped her toe in the celebrity pool, having appeared on a few episodes of The Simple Life as Paris Hilton's assistant. But it wasn't until 2007 that she really became a household name.

Speaking of how she actually got famous (yep, that sex tape), Kim revealed she doesn't think KUWTK would have been successful without it – although she does regret it. "That is something that I have to live with for the rest of my life. That is something that is being held over my head," she said.

"I try to not live with any regrets, but it's probably the one thing I wish didn't exist. If I could erase any of the stupid things I've done in life, that's probably it."
