I tried 111Skin's new Maskne mask and this is what I think

Maskne is real, my girlfriend quipped. It’s been a year plus since the requirement to wear masks in public was implemented, and we are starting to see the effects of prolonged wear, both good and bad: lower COVID-19 infection counts, as well as maskne, or acne mechanica.
Acne mechanical is a type of acne that is triggered due to excess pressure, friction, heat or rubbing of the skin. The acne's appearance varies from blemishes, to red, inflamed pustules.

Best of all, it's S$19 (the price of a cocktail?) for one sheet that's biodegradable after one use! Saving the planet and your skin at the same time? Let's put this sheet to the test.
The Protective Bio Cellulose Mask contains calming aloe vera properties and microalgae. It also contains Lactic Acid, a gentle alpha hydroxy acid that helps dissolve the cells' bonding dead skin to reduce the appearance of blemishes and inflammation.
The stabilised Vitamin C helps to brighten the complexion while Vitamin E strengthens and supports the skin's natural barrier.
The recommended usage is leaving the mask on for 20 minutes, but I've decided to leave it a little more after 30 minutes. The result? My skin definitely felt refreshed, and the non-sticky, fast-absorbing formula did not leave any weird residue behind. The area where I was picking my skin (yes, terrible I know), was less red and my skin felt slightly plumper. Not bad for a sheet!
