Everyone's saying the same about Meghan and Harry's new portraits

Two new portraits of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, have been shared with the world – and it seems that everyone is saying pretty much the same thing about them.

The images of the couple were captured last month, just moments before the Duchess addressed the crowd at the One Young World ceremony in Manchester and were taken by a close friend of the pair, Misan Harriman, who also shot the Sussexes underneath a symbolic tree in their back garden for the photos they shared when announcing their pregnancy with Lilibet.

In the new portraits, one of which is in colour and one of which is in black and white, Meghan can be seen wearing a red shirt and matching trousers (coming in at around £1,000 in total) from sustainable label Another Tomorrow, whilst Harry is suited up with a dark-coloured tie. As is custom for the couple, in both snaps they can be seen holding hands with one another.

Over on Misan's Instagram, the comments about the couple all pretty much follow in the same vein: saying how great and "powerful" they look, and how comfortable they must be with the photographer himself. He captured them both: "The Duke & Duchess of Sussex moments before attending the opening ceremony of @OneYoungWorld last month."

"What a stunning picture, you bring out something in them for sure. It is a level of comfort, trust and respect. Well done sir," one social media user wrote underneath the in-colour photo. Another added, "You capture them so beautifully ❤️."

A third wrote, "Thank you for sharing, yet, another beautiful photo of H&M. You’ve captured them perfectly again, Sir."

Many also called the Sussexes their favourite "power couple" and expressed their joy at seeing the behind-the-scenes images of them.

During the event, Meghan, who appeared as a keynote speaker, told the audience that this was not the first time she'd taken to the stage at One Young World to give a speech, having previously appeared back in 2014, prior to meeting Prince Harry.

Describing herself back then, the Duchess referred to herself as "the girl from Suits" and candidly admitted to having imposter syndrome when surrounded by such inspirational world leaders and young people rallying to make a difference.

"Have any of you [young activists] today so far had that feeling, that pinch me moment where you just go 'How am I here? Oh it’s a lot'," she recalled. "At that [counsellors] dinner there were about 20 to 30 of us, and there I was, I was the girl from Suits. And I was surrounded by world leaders, humanitarians, prime ministers and activists that I had such a deep and longstanding respect and admiration for."

The Duchess continued, "And I was invited to pull up a seat at the table, I was so overwhelmed by this experience. I think, I think I even saved my little paper place card that said my name on it. Just proof, proof that I was there and proof that I belonged, because the truth was I wasn’t sure that I belonged [...] But One Young World saw in me what I wanted to see fully in myself."
