Singapore's Ministry of Trade and Industry in August said the economy will likely grow at between 0% to 1% for 2019, with GDP falling in the middle of that range. Private sector economists slashed Singapore 2019 growth forecast to 0.6%, according to a quarterly survey of professional forecasters by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. For the third quarter, the economists polled by MAS expect year-on-year growth of 0.3%.
