Man, 77, Arrested For Raping Woman, 20, Who Posted Assault on Snapchat: Cops
A 77-year-old man in Ohio has been arrested for sexually assaulting a 20-year-old woman who posted video of the attack on Snapchat, police said.
James Allen was charged with one count of rape after investigators viewed the social media clip, Ottawa County Prosecutor James VanEerten said.

The man was arrested Tuesday after a friend of the woman saw the alleged attack online and contacted police.
VanEerten said it was not clear whether the woman live streamed the assault or posted video of it afterward.
The prosecutor said it was unclear why she took the footage.

“It’s obviously horrific, but at least it allowed us to put a stop to the situation and make a quick arrest in this case,” he said, the Toledo Blade reported.
The woman was evaluated at a nearby hospital.
Allen is being held at the Ottawa County Jail in lieu of $1 million bail. He has not entered a plea.
