Lim was with 32-year-old Tran Cam Ny when her body was found in a flat at Blk 406, Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10 on Thursday.

A police spokesman told Yahoo Singapore on Thursday that they received a call for assistance at 12.33 pm. They arrived to find the body on the ninth floor of the block. The woman was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.

Media reports say police arrested a slim man with dyed hair and cuts on his face at the scene.

Neighbours also told the media they heard loud noises coming from the flat on Thursday morning.
