Hunter Biden mocks ‘wildly comical’ Don Jr in Kimmel interview

((ABC))Hunter Biden mocked “wildly comical” Donald Trump Jr during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote his new memoir, Beautiful Things.
Mr Biden, 51, the son of US President Joe Biden, appeared on Kimmel’s show on Thursday night just a day after Mr Trump Jr, the eldest son of former President Donald Trump, mocked him for detailing his battle with substance abuse in the new memoir.
On his Instagram stories on Wednesday, Mr Trump Jr posted a picture of a crack pipe, parmesan cheese and a lighter to troll Mr Biden.
He did this because in his new memoir, Mr Biden admitted that he once smoked parmesan cheese since it resembled crack.
Mr Biden elaborated on this during an interview on CBS’ This Morning earlier in the week, saying: “I spent more times on my hands and knees picking through rugs smoking anything that even remotely resembled crack cocaine.”
“I probably smoked more parmesan cheese than anyone that you know,” he added.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Mr Trump Jr referenced those comments, posting: “Parents don’t let your kids do... Um... Parmesan” and adding: “Watch out for Big Parma,” with the post accompanied by three laughing emojis.
When asked about being mocked by Mr Trump Jr during his interview with Kimmel on Thursday night, Mr Biden revealed that he has “never met” the former president’s son, joking that he has has not encountered him, despite having been in “rough places”.
Mr Biden, who is a lawyer and former lobbyist, has been the focus of repeated attacks by conservative politicians and pundits, who have claimed without evidence that he influenced US foreign policy while on the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma.
Although the claims were never corroborated, Mr Trump and Mr Trump Jr claimed that Mr Biden used his father’s name for his own personal gain.
Leading up to the 2020 presidential election, Mr Trump and his son also took aim at Mr Biden’s addiction issues and attempted to use it to harm the 51-year-old’s father’s campaign.

During the interview, Kimmel asked Mr Biden: “Does it make you crazy when you hear someone like Donald Trump Jr say the only reason [you’re able to get away with things] is because you’re a Biden and because of your last name?”
“It is wildly comical - that’s putting it lightly,” Mr Biden replied. “But I don’t spend too much time thinking about it,” he added.
Despite Mr Trump and his children’s repeated attacks on Mr Biden, often referencing his struggles with addiction, Mr Biden defended his son during one of the debates for 2020’s presidential election.
“My son, like a lot of people, like a lot of people you know at home, had a drug problem,” Mr Biden said. “He’s overtaken it. He’s fixed it. He’s worked on it, and I’m proud of him. I’m proud of my son.”
